Why Does Green Roads Test Products?
Green Roads tests products in order to maintain our commitment to delivering pure, potent effective and consistent CBD products to customers. Our co-founder Laura Baldwin Fuentes spent 25+ years as a licensed compound pharmacist. Her career experience is foundational to Green Roads’ quality control standards and dedication to the well-being of our customers. She simply wouldn’t allow it to be any other way.
How Our Products are Tested.
In order to ensure transparency and accountability in our testing, we work with a third-party product testing facility called Evio Labs. Evio is an ISO (International Organization for Standardization)-certified lab. This means it meets an international standard for testing practices and overall procedures. As a third-party entity, it operates totally independently of Green Roads. We have Evio do two tests - one on our raw materials and a second on our finished goods. We will not sell a product that does not pass the testing on both levels.
Green Roads sends each batch of its finished goods to Evio labs for testing before they hit the shelves. Evio uses the latest in analytical testing methods to deliver a full profile of what’s in each product.
What We Test For.
Green Roads has its products tested against a variety of criteria. First of all, we’re verifying potency. We want to make sure that we’re delivering consistent levels of hemp-derived cannabinoids. Furthermore, it’s important to make sure our THC levels are less than 0.0mg, written as <0.0mg. While it is legal for industrial hemp to have up to 0.3% THC, we reduce this compound as much as possible to reassure our customers that the products are not intoxicating and won’t get you high.Beyond that, we’re checking for product purity. Evio runs tests for…
- Heavy metals
We refuse to sell any product that doesn’t meet our standards. After Evio tests our product, we make that resulting lab sheet available to customers via QR codes on every product’s package.
